HOME

Activities funded through HOME must be used exclusively for the creation of affordable housing for low-income households.

Eligible activities include:

• Home purchase or rehabilitation financing assistance to eligible homeowners and new homebuyers.
• Construction or rehabilitation of housing for rent or ownership.
• Other reasonable and necessary expenses such as acquisition and demolition.
• Tenant-based rental assistance.
